Welcome to the “Spelling bee” contest. We are really glad to see you all here today. Today is an exciting day, to me, and my talented students from 8th grades, to show their knowledge of the English language. My Dear students, I know you’ll do your best I just want to wish all of you good luck! And let the Best to win the game. Before starting our contest, let me introduce the judges and the contestants. The Rules of competition: 1 – этап: is called “Spelling time”. Students will be given 10 words to spell. They’re allowed to ask questions as: Can you repeat the word, please? Which part of speech? Can you give me definition, please? Evaluation: For each correct answered word, they’ll get 1 point.
